Yes you did and so did Roni, I didn't add them here as those folks had all already been nominated but that's for your support.

Alison Armocida for Membership Coordinator

Thank you, but I don't accept that nomination either.

Would make sense to me to have Membership Coordinator and Members Advocate be the same person.

And since I am running for scribe, we will need to find someone else to be webmaster then.  I don't mind doing it, but I can't run for two positions.

And Alison is not running for anything this year either.  So I don't thinks he accepts any nominations.

I guess a lot of people have a great deal of faith in you, Sati.  So do I, just for the record!

We talked in a Witan mtg (at least I think it was in a Witan Mtg) about having the pursewarden doing the membership coordinator job because it just makes more sense.  That way you don't have 2 people trying to track and write checks for membership.

It ( Member's Advocate and Membership Coordinator)  really are two different jobs and, I guess, we should start compartmentalisling jobs because not every officer is ready to take on a "plethera" of jobs so we might (and do)  move them around.  This person might take ona A.B, and C and the other person might take on C & D and the next election it changes again but the most important thing is tht we have good job descriptions for what that person is expected to do.

BTW, In case I haven't said it lately, I luv you all and I have been priveledged to have worked with you for the past 2 years.

There were some last minute nominations today at Rites of Caffeina, many of which were duplicates of folks already nominated so I am not going to to repeat them but the new ones are:

Sati Caldwell as Senior Druid

Mike Power as Vice Senior Druid        Accepted nomination

Penelope Foran as Members Advocate

I need to know if the following people accept the nominations of the followings positions:

Sati Caldwell for Senior Druid
Alison Armocida for Membership Coordinator
Penelope Foran for Member's Advocate

If there are "any" other nominations please let me know before midnight tonight.  Thanks!

I agree with Caryn. A lot of work has gone into this web page. It is very professionally done.  I wouldn't have found Cedar Light without it. And a lot of people are still finding there way here, via the web.  Great job, Crystal. Thank you.

Crystal, I see your point but it is a very important position.  Especially since we brought the forum online.
At any rate, we can discuss it further at any time.  Personally, I think you should a lot of credit for that web page.

I don't really see webmaster as needing a witan position, I volunteered to do it either way.

I do accept nomination for Scribe, and I think it would make sense to just tie the two together, since everything I put on the website is stuff from the scribe anyway.

I would also like to nominate Alison Armocida for Vice Seniod Druid.

I don't accept it.  I don't have enough time or energy.

Sas's job description was there for a while but you're right about Andy.  I was hoping maybe you had received one.

Hmmm guess we are going to find some new folks to help set up the ritual.  It really should be a rotating job.

I do not accept the nomination.

I also recall, that we said if current witan members couldn't get in a job description by nov 1, then they couldn't hold any office this year. Andy did not submit anything and Sas's was past that date.

:D Well I kinda meant one or the other, not knowing if either one is even remotely interested -but- there is really no reason we couldn't have 2.  Vice Senior Druid is not a required position but in our Grove its a very necessary position and it gives its holder some good experience in possibly holding the SD position at a later date.

Whoever is elected to the SD office is going to need all the support he or she can get.  Its not an easy job and as I have warned Deirdre, its a job that can rip your heart out if you are not strong enough to withstand the storms.  Support from the Grove is absolutely vital during these times.
