Dear Grove Members and Grove Friends

I'm sure lawn mowing is everybody's favorite topic...yes I know -but-
It's our sanctuary and our land and that comes with certain responsibilities.

Until it gets really hot and dry, we can probably figure on the grass needing to be cut at least every other week if not every week.  Leaving the grass a little longer does make us have to mow more often but it is also healthier for the grass and helps to keep moisture in the soil

We have 2 mowers, 1 gas self propelled and 1 electric (this one is actually mine).  It takes one person about 2 hours to mow the whole lawn, 2 people about an hour...3 people..you get the picture.   There have been plenty of times in the past when lawn mower races were the start of RoC on Sundays.  2 or 3 people would bring their mowers and off we'd go.

Please consider helping out with this on Sunday mornings.  BTW, weed whacking and weeding is also needed.

Thanks!
