Great Big Huge HUZZAH to Barry
who showed up at about 9:15 this Am and worked until about 6PM  cleaning the parsonage kitchen and bathroom.  I mean it is spic-n-span Mr Clean has been here clean.

HUZZAH to Chelsea who came by after work and was there until about 7PM.  She and I cleaned the windows in the grove space, the Ancestors and the nature Spirits Altars, we took down the curtains and she is going to wash them and I cleaned the grey carpets in the grove space and the carpet in the parsonage.

Huzzah to Chelsea for not only organizing, but being the main proprietor of the Adopt A Family charity.  Huzzah also to Caryn, Crystal, Kat and the stranger who gave money to buy gifts, for their donations as well. (If I forgot someone, I apologize).

Jack also gave a very generous donation to Barnes and Noble.
Renee made scarves for the family.

My sister (Cindy Howard) gave the wrapped box of food, a few small gifts and 1/2 of the cost of the winter coats.

Everyone added something in for the food.

Thanks to everyone.  It was definitely a success.

I'm somewhat disappointed in the lack of Grove involvement in this project, but I know the economy is tough right now.  Lets not forget the less fortunate.

The bake sale made between $50-$60.  Huzzah to all the people who made WONDERFUL dishes.  I'm sorry the fundraiser did not make -more- money, but it was certainly a fun experiment :D

I wanted to throw out a huzzah to Chelsea and Caryn for organizing the organic decorations workshop this past Sunday.  Though we found out how annoying popcorn really is to string up, it was a lot of fun :)

I found this research page, http://www.agnihotra.org/science.htm

Besides buying a CD or Tape, you can listen to the mantras here:

The supplies including a cd with the chant can be purchased from Copperworks in VA.  http://agnihotrasupplies.com/

I can make another copy of the cd for you.  :)

Hussah to Chelsea!!!

Also, can I get a copy of that CD???

Their website was interesting but there was not much on the research he talked about. I still did not find the link for hearing the chant. I made a copy of the brochure for my coworker, she said it reminded her of things that they no longer do in India. She is also interested in hearing the chant.

THANKS for arranging this!

Thanks so much.  I was just in the right place at the right moment.  :)

I have bound the documents and made a CD of the materials so we can have it in the CLG library.

I did an extra copy for the OHF library as well.  I will mail it to them, unless someone will be seeing any OHF folks in the near future.

Hussah to Chelsea for setting up the Vedic talk tonight.  It sounded like a new take on an old concept.  Interesting.
