Unfortunately, my Mom's dog took a major turn for the worse, and her regular vet has counselled her to have Missy put to sleep.

My Mom is really grieving the loss already; please light a candle for our little nature spirit who is on her way to the laps of the Gods.

So sorry for her.  Losing a pet is so hard.

in the event that she may want another pet soon, BARCS is having an adoption event for the month of January.  All pets $1 until the end of the month. =^..^=

Prayers are being said for all of them.  If you could add ones for the following people . . .

My mom had to take her dog to the emergency vet's last night; poor Missy has vestibular syndrome and is very sick, although she'll recover.

Also, my Mom's neighbor's house was broken into a robbed last night.  Please pray for her; she's pretty shook up.

More prayers needed for Sue and Guy from our fellow Virginian ADFers who had a horrible weekend in the hospital due to their little one having seizures.

For those that don't know their campground is where Trillium has been held the last few years.  They are pretty close to some of our members at CedarLight.

Turns out he has a broken back, a concussion, and a busted knee.  But no paralysis, thank goodness.

Please keep the following families in your thoughts:

Gavin's family is going through significant financial/employment turmoil right now due to economy woes.  One member is rather sick and unable to afford treatment.

My cousin Bryan was in a car accident tonight and is being taken to York Shock Trauma.  He's 25 and he and his wife just found out around Christmas that they are expecting their first child, which they've been trying for, for at least 3 years.
