The Highway Pickup scheduled for last Sunday was postponed as the Druid in Charge couldn't be there.  We will reschedule for a later date.

Yes it will be scheduled, please check the Tree Lore thread under Grove Discussion.  There will be at least 1 Yule Lore meeting in Dec (probably in place of the Healers Guild Mtg) as we will need to prepare for the High Rite.

You can see what we have done thus far in the Tree Lore thread.

Is this going to be a Scheduled study session?

I was hoping to get in on the ground level for this study program.

Could someone let me know when the next one is, please? I just need some headsup so I can plan accordingly.

Last Nights Lore meeting was Part 1 of our Tree Lore & Ogham study project. Rick & Rhi brought a bag full of sticks from the Wye Oak and we had all done some research on Oaks and presented it to the group.

Next weeks Lore Mtg will be a Healer's Guild mtg and if Sas doesn't want to present something I am prepared to run a series of Healer's Guild meetings on the Chakra System complete with meditations, chants and Yoga positions...which considering mine and most everyone else's limber-osity and skill at yoga...this ought to be quite the Kodack Moment.   If we go with this, please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing.  I'll contact Sas to see what she thinks.

Tonight's Lore Meeting will be a Healer's Guild Meeting.
I have a couple of of new things from Rieki lists and the magazine that we could experiment with.

Some of us are planning a Samhain end of the season campout at Highland Farm for the 1st weekend in Nov.  I would like to get a headcount to give to Ed & Dee.  For those that don't know, Ed health has not been great this year and he is really trying to make a go at providing a space to the pagan community to come and enjoy the land while not turning this into complete servitude for him and his family.

There will be a 10-20  (The last I heard they had not decided on whether or not it was $10/night or $15 for the weekend) I will try to find this out.  I am planning to rent a port-a-pot, I don't know if there are enough grove members going to warrant asking the Grove to pay for it.

As for me, I just REALLY need to sit under the stars by a fire and listen to drums and the sounds of the land.
