Thanksgiving
« on: November 12, 2004, 12:15:36 PM »
Some of us talked about having a Thanksgiving dinner at CLG.  Some talked about having a joint one with the members of CAW.  No real plans have been made to actually do this.

At the last Witan, we decided that if a Grove member wanted to head up a gathering at the Grove they could, otherwise it will be a stay at home, family time day.  I would encourage folks who plan to have a dinner at home to invite Grove Members over who don't have a place to go.

Personally, I was planning to stay at home but what do others think?

I am not planning on a Lore Mtg that night.

I am cooking and having dinner with my family.  I have invited one member of the grove to join us.  There is unfortunately no more room but for one more guest other then family.

I will be with my parents as well. But perhaps we could celebrate on Friday rather than Thursday.  We have much to be thankful for, despite all the struggles we go through.  It would be an opportunity to let Her know, we are indeed grateful as a community.  If we do do this, I'll bring Pumpkin Pie from Safeway.
