Sunday, January 17
« on: January 07, 2014, 10:04:02 AM »
We were talking about making  tea (for the Waters of Life for Imbolc) and Brighid's Crosses on this day. I think Ashley volunteered to lead the Brighid's Cross making.

Do we want to make dollies, too? I can run that if there is interest. I think it would be cool for the 3 girls to have one.

Would any of you who have experience making tea be willing to run that part?

We had also talked about asking the 3 boys to spray our hands with herbed water for Purification. Can we make this ahead of time or not? Is anyone willing to gather the herbs and get these ready? I think I saw two spray bottles at the Grove and I have two at home I can bring.

Whether we will be down this Sunday is questionable.  I would love a refresher on the cross making though, I need updated ones for my house.

Conundrum.

Well that's still almost 2 weeks before the HR.  Remember that herb tea has no preservatives in it and can go bad in about a week...depending on a lot of different circumstances.  I recommend making it the morning of the HR...just my 2 cents.  The spritzer would be fine but if you want to drink it, I would make it fresh.

Just checking here:

We are making crosses? Ashley is bringing?

Are we making dollies? I can bring, but need to know if anyone wants to.

We are not making tea? Waters of Life tea will be made by Ashley later because to early?

Anything else?
