Huzzah to Will and Caryn, yet again, for fixing the devastated front yard.
When we got there a wide trench was where the sage used to be.
Unreal. Den and I did what we could Den did more than I, fixing the rat mess by the trash pad and compacting some soil near it. Will and Caryn moved stones, earth, plants and damn near the wind to get things back to where they ought be. Plants were moved and even some new bulbs went in. While Caryn and I tended the sage Den and Will ferried clay and irises to a new home. To look at it, maybe it took and hr but to be there it took all damn day and we have so much more to do.
And after all was said and done we sat by the fire and drummed some fine beats and drank some fine mead and ale. A good time was had by all. Good food, good friends and a days worth of work. Our Patron would be proud@!
Even more than that Will gave a word to me, a feeling, a caress -- to the meaning of that which we all call home. Maybe, just maybe we'll see a workshop on Earth, our Lover.
So Huzzah to the garden gnomes and earth lovers you are not forgotten!!
