Invasive Plant Removal-A Heads up
« on: February 04, 2008, 07:02:22 PM »
Oks, at RoC last Sunday Will suggested that CLG might get involved with such things as Invasive plant removal.    Well I happened to stumble across this on the local Sierra Club site.

[Forward] Sat. Mar. 22 GB – Invasive Plant Removal along Glen Ellen – Seminary Trail
Help cut invasive vines and pull other non-native plants along the Glen Ellen – Seminary Trail in the Loch Raven Watershed. Meet at 9:00 AM on Seminary Ave. just past the light to the left off Dulaney Valley Rd., just north of the Baltimore Beltway. Tools, gloves, and refreshments will be provided. For information, call Mary at 410-248-0423/410-239-4590 or 443-386-0862 (cell), or email at XxDiTz4LyFxX@aol.com.
[End Forward]

Just thought someone might be interested.  :)

Could be our Ritual Day activity, since the Equinox ritual will be that afternoon.

Its an idea however, it's also some hard work and we'd probably need to be out of there by 12-1 pm.

How many other folks are interested?

Considering how out of shape I am I'd prolly be done by that time myself.  :P

Sorry Z, I don't know if you went out but Will and I couldn't make it. We were at CLC till 7 the day before and then I was up till 12:30 with a homework assignment and writing the ritual.  Only to be back at CLC by 11 AM on Sat because Will wanted to redesign the bridge.

We missed you at the ritual.  It was a good one!
