Certainly :)  What weekends are good for you at the end of August or sometime in September?

I was talking to Ashley today and we'd really love to do some workshops on Celtic legends and myths like Jack suggested. Maybe a series if enough people are interested?

Stemming from mythological workshops, I would particularly like to focus something on the lore of individual deities according to academic research and *reliable* scholarly texts, based on archaeological and anthropological findings.

I'm personally not a fan of a lot of the NewAgey books places like Barnes and Noble have to offer...and find that many of the "Celtic Studies" books found beneath that descriptor have shady references and are based on the hear-say of others who may or may not be qualified. Now, even those types of books have their place, and often reflect modern attitudes (kindof a sociological overview of modern pagan beliefs)...but I prefer reading original sources and what some people feel to be 'dry' material for my information. Such a workshop would be based upon this sort of information with references included.

This would also assist with the discussion of appropriate offerings to deities which can be added to ritual planning discussion, as mentioned by Caryn and Crystal. If there is a space available for a workshop in October, I could have one ready by then. (That's how far ahead I plan, btw.) I will repost later if necessary.

With regards to July and August, if there is space available, Ryn and I could definitely put together some Irish Mythological workshops.

Behold my long post of yikes.

So we have Wayne for a Virtues Discussion/Workshop

And Caryn for a 2nd Harvest Season Workshop (I don't know if that will include the Welsh Mabon/Modron myth or not.  Depends on how much information there is to cover.)
