Purification rite/working
« on: January 19, 2012, 12:34:39 PM »
This Friday, Jan 20th, gather @ 7PM

We will make our 1st effort to perform the water purification rite that was created and scientifically tested by Sandra Ingerman.  I have been in contact with Caroline Kenner and have the latest rendition of this.

This is not our average journey and is more of a magical working.  We will be going within to the spot that we connect with the divine.  From there we will connect our deities, then  allow ourselves to become one with them and from this point we will purify the water.  We are going to try it first in a grove journey working to see how it goes and purify the waters for the water of life.  Then in the ritual, we will use the blessings and do it again with the waters from the area.

I hope that made sense.  So yes there will be spiritual and physical purifications going on sometimes simultaneously.

So what folks need to bring is water.  I think we should call on both Danu and Brigid and the water we bring will be the offerings.  Each of us will call them in our own way (so water would be better than a huge bowl of burning incense)  You will need water to purifiy and for you to drink and we will need (Deer Park because it comes from MD) water for the ritual.  We can also purify water to keep on hand for reiki shares.

Note:  Debbie and I will be attempting to bring in 2 love seats that she is donating and removing some of the older chairs.  If you can come early and help that would be awesome!

How early?

And we need to figure out what kind of Deer Park we want to get. We had mentioned at the meeting that giant jugs would use less plastic than bottles...
"Call upon the Goddesses and Gods to protect you and teach you the secrets of magic. Ask stones and plants to reveal their powers - and listen."

"Yet we who dwell here know we set our feet where once immortals trod, who left their magic here. Here - is the sometime throne of the ocean god, Mannanan, by which his cloak of mists invisible became a plaything of his starry will- Here, every mountain rill whispers enchantment still, murmurs the old god's name."

"When the crows heed their endless calling, Look to the Moon to see a Lady, dancing in the blackened clouds, And when at night you see her coming, fall in wonder of what beauty she possesses, and shed your tears. The Great Queen is walking her footsteps once again. Morrighan, Morrighan, you'll call her by name."

Caryn is coming over to the house around 3:30 or 3:45 and we are loading them up around that time.  Unfortunately, two developments have happened since I planned to come up and unload.  My daughter may have her online class start tomorrow and so will be coming here after work to get on our pc.  That means someone needs to watch Jaylynn.  I had hoped it would be Tony but he says now that he won't be home until later.  So I don't know if I can come up to unload the sofa's as I had planned.

Anyway, I WILL have them ready.  It IS my intention to help bring them up.  I will know tomorrow.  Sorry.  Daughter has chosen to take up college so I have to help with grand daughter.  Its all new about schedule and what days I have that are free.

I got 2 of the big jugs today so maybe some of the bottles?

We should be up there between 4:30 and 5 (ish)  Do you want me to text you when we are leaving Linthicum?

You can, it matters not. I will show up a bit early to help clean stuff up and set up for the journey. Sounds like debbie isn't sure about tomorrow, so def lemme know if you need extra help.

Duncan will be driving the truck up and taking the old chairs away.  But it might be difficult for just the 2 of us to get the love seats into the house.  I don't know, I haven't seen them.

Caryn, make it 3:45.  Husband is going to try to be home but not sure when.  Britt can always put a movie on for Jaylynn.  I will do my best about coming up to help move.

Sofas i dont think will go thru hall door because of the hallway being narrow.  Back door of supply room would be better.  More room to maneover.  Can put on blue wheelbarrel and push around to back to make it easier.

It took alot of us by surprise...and Ashley speaking of an owl made sense to me later on when I was meditating on the night.

I agree that next time we should have hands on the water, but I believe it happened, as well as within.  Need to write in my Live Journal about it.

The rite was very powerful. I think there were 9 of us there and wow to the words that were spoken! The visions I had, of the hand-holding, sticks with me.

I brought my bottle home for now. We're bringing them back for the Imbolc rite, correct?

There were nine of us there?  That is significant.
