CedarLight Grove, ADF is an open, safe, and inclusive spiritual home where we research and practice spirituality from various Indo-European cultures which include, Celtic, Norse-Germanic, Slavic, Greek, Welsh, and others. We honor the Earth as holy and living. We are striving to be part a greater solution and thus have no time or space for hate in all the various forms it is being promoted or peddled  by certain people and groups.

  • Seasonal alcohol
  • Inspired toasts to the gods and spirits we are calling on.
  • Hand-crafted items or natural items as offerings for the fire if we are outside.

Lore of the Season & Ritual Information

Intention: To celebrate the renewal of spring and that the goddesses bring after Ragnarok, in the beginning of the world that comes after.

Pantheon: Norse

Deities of the Occasion: All the Norse Goddesses:  Frigga and her council of 12, Freya, Ostara, Idunn, and others.  The Ancestors and the Spirits of Nature.

Children and Pets

Children are welcome to all CedarLight events, but small children must be attended at all times because our center is not child proof,  there are stairs, fires, candles and small items that could be swallowed. We do not yet have children activities planned for this event however that can change if we know they are coming.

Trained service animals are, of course, welcome.

Pets however, are not allowed because we have learned from past mistakes that not everyone knows how to approach an animal and not every animal will behave predictably with many strangers around.  Thank you for understanding.

After the Blot

  • We are all responsible for cleaning up and washing our dishes.
  • We must make sure the trash is taken out.
  •  Please consider a donation of $10.  Pagan/Heathen temples/hofs/churches do not survive on hopes and prayers.  Cash and checks can be placed in the large brass bowl in the larger Grove Space.  We accept PayPal donations under the email:  cedarlightgrove@gmail.com.

Thank you for joining us in honoring the gods.
