NAMI Maryland, the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Maryland, will be holding their annual NAMIWalk to raise awareness for the support of mental illness on May 31st, 2014!
CedarLight Grove, ADF is excited to walk with NAMI this year and raise money to help this grassroots organization. For over 30 years, NAMI has provided free support groups and education programs to promote their mission to provide help and hope to those in need.
Please join us and hundreds of others in who want to make an impact and statement on how mental illness is understood. Awareness is important – We want people to know that mental illness can affect anyone, anytime, and anywhere.
Team CedarLight will be walking at West Shore Park in the Inner Harbor May 31st from 3-6pm to help raise this awareness. We hope that you will help support us in this walk by donating to our team! Money raised for this walk stay in Maryland to allow NAMI a stronger presence in our community and to advocate in greater ways at the local, state, and national levels on behalf of the millions affected by mental illness.
