CedarLight Grove will be hosting a Personal Finance 101 workshop on April 11th starting at 1pm. This workshop will cover basics of personal finance such as emergency funds, snowballing debt, income vs. expenses, and those just starting out in financial management.
This is not a workshop on investing, retirement, or general financial planning. Those will be covered in a supplementary workshop later on. Personal Finance 101 is just going to cover the concept and steps of getting out of debt and recognizing bad habits.
This workshop is open to all, but you must RSVP for this event as there will be limited seating.
When: April 11, 2010 starting at 1pm. Folks are welcomed to join us for a pot-luck brunch at 10am and our weekly devotional meditation “Walk with the Old Ones”.
Cost: $10 for non-members, $5 for members. All proceeds go to support CedarLight Grove.
RSVP: Email firstname.lastname@example.org by April 9th
It is recommended that you bring a laptop or paper/pencil for taking notes. An e-mail follow-up of resources will be available after the workshop as well.
